December 2009
So, here’s to 2009. It could’ve been a better year but, I thank God for the blessings He gave. and the ginormous amounts of grace He gave me.
Thank You, Dad. :)
usually I put photos and what-nots but, seeing as I won’t be back in the house ‘til the afternoon of January 1, this will have to suffice.
but by the grace of God, I’m still standing.
When January 1 hits this New Year’s, at exactly 12am, I will delete my cell phone message inbox containing 1000+ messages.
hahaha. okay, randominity over.
Ezekiel 3:3, “Then he said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it.” So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.”
scripture has to taste like honey to us. that would be awesome.
This 2010.
I will finish the Old Testament so that I finish the whole Bible. Must finish OT. no matter how boring it gets to read at times.
Lord, grace? lezzdoodees.

Joy costs pain. ain’t it the truth.
May you be covered in the dust of your rabbi.
disciples walking so close to their teachers, taking in everything he said and did, that the dust that the sandals from the teachers would kick off would go to the disciples.
you.me. walking so close to Jesus that His dust covers our feet.
Me: O.o Tricia Lao: What? Me: Anakngtokwa, ang ganda niya. Tricia Lao: I really really want to know who she’s going to marry, that dude is loved by the Lord. Me: PWEDE BANG AKO?! Tricia: Bahala na si Lord dun! Me: HUHUHU.
As fate would have it, God had to orchestrate it so that I would end up having an extremely gorgeous ex-girlfriend.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m over the whole...
Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me.
my world’s on fire, how ‘bout yours? that’s the way I like it and I’ll never get bored.
If the point of life was the same as the point of a story, then the point of life would be character transformation.
I think if we just sat. At a Starbucks or something. and we talked for serious and laid everything on the table, we’d be okay.
and then I could give your gummy...

-Rob Bell, Sex God.
Reading Sex God instead of A Million Miles In A Thousand Years ‘cause Kuya Aoo wanted to switch.
It’s an awesome book. Equally as awesome as Velvet Elvis, if I might say.

-C.S. Lewis, The Screwtape Letters.
Contrary to popular belief, the devil never dresses up as a naked demon with red skin, demented eyes, and horns at the top of his head.
you make breaking hearts look so easy.
I have found it.

Noche buena bloopers.
With the CRAZY noche buena that happened last night, I can’t not put quotable quotes.
*Timmy just got a new train set* Kuya Aoo: WOW, TIMMY! O, what does the train of a sound make? Kuya Roel: HAH? diba what does the sound of a train make? Everyone: waahahaha! =))

– - Dr. Seuss (via themorninglight) (via hafawee)
the movie has been showing on HBO for the past couple of days.
Lord, give me the physical strength stay up until 12am.
Trying to give happy birthdays at exactly 12am is a hassle.
but worth it.
I think.
The little boy came out to play, in that distant, bright night, with all the stars dancing to the motions of the sky.
He drew his little tattered jacket tightly around him, the snowy air, biting at his skin with each second that he was on the street. He looked up into the nothingness of the night, saw what he felt was there, and flew.
The air around him zoomed and whizzed past and his skin...
Minsan, mahal kita.
it’s this old Filipino movie that’s showing in Studio 23 right now.
